The SpongeBob Movie: Sponge Out of Water

Review

"The SpongeBob Movie: Sponge Out of Water" is a 2015 American 3D animated action comedy film based on the Nickelodeon's television series "SpongeBob SquarePants". A sequel to "The SpongeBob SquarePants Movie (2004)". The film stars the regular television cast (Tom Kenny, Clancy Brown, Rodger Bumpass, Bill Fagerbakke, Carolyn Lawrence, and Mr. Lawrence), who returned to reprise their respective roles from the series. The plot follows a pirate, Burger-Beard, who steals the Krabby Patty secret formula using a magical book that makes any text written upon it come true. SpongeBob, Mr. Krabs, Squidward, Patrick, Sandy, and Plankton must travel to the surface and confront Burger-Beard in order to get the formula back.

The SpongeBob Movie: Sponge Out of Water was released in the United States on February 6, 2015. 1. The 3-D animation was incredible and eye-popping. The above-water sequences were really enjoyable. We all know, seeing our favourite characters since childhood, in 3-D was an amazing experience.

2. The jokes were funny. The whole audience was dying of laughter! There were a lot of strange and messed up moments in the movie, there was also a reference to "The Shining" and we were like: What the hell am I seeing?

3. Unless you're a die hard Spongebob fan, this film has nothing to offer you. Even then, you might find yourself exhausted by the end of the film's run. So, as a fan, I would say movie was fun.

4. Some of my friends and other people in the theatre actually didn't enjoyed the movie much, mainly because of the ending, some annoying songs and the strangely uncomfortable moments.

5. One thing that was disappointing (especially for one of my, Die hard 'Slash' Fan, friend and most probably other  Guns n' Roses' Fans), they didn't included Guns n' Roses' legendary guitarist Slash. According to trailer, Slash was supposed to be in a scene. This was one of the major factor that may have dragged many people to watch this movie. But due to some reason they could not complete his scene in the movie and had to remove his scene which was very disappointing.

6. This movie was actually different than the series we have been seeing since childhood. Maybe because of the fact that the Spongbob and his friends went outside water even though it was not for a long time. But it was fun seeing Spongebob and team outside the water.

7. As a fan, we all wanted this movie to go longer, which was another disappointing thing. Me and my friends were just enjoying the moments and hoped that could go on for longer time(but come on who would want that, it would spoil all the fun).

8. Overall, it was not a bad movie at all. It brought and will bring that child out in you. We highly recommend it (for those have not watched it and especially if you're fan of the TV show), and for those who have watched it please let us know your views in the comment down below. It was a pretty good spectacle. It was great that the movie took advantage of its 3D format, it looked great. Also, do not forget to watch Squidward's dancing in the end credits scene, it will definitly remind you of the old times.
