Deadpool (2016)

Review

Deadpool is a 2016 American superhero film based on the Marvel Comics character of the same name. It is the eighth installment of the X-Men film series, and is directed by Tim Miller. Written by Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick, the film stars Ryan Reynolds, Morena Baccarin, Ed Skrein, T. J. Miller, Gina Carano, Leslie Uggams, Brianna Hildebrand and Stefan Kapicic. In Deadpool, Wade Wilson hunts the man who gave him an accelerated healing factor but also a scarred physical appearance.

Development of a Deadpool film began in February 2004 with New Line Cinema. However, in March 2005, New Line put the film in turnaround and 20th Century Fox became interested. In May 2009, after Reynolds portrayed the character in X-Men Origins: Wolverine, Fox lent the film to writers, and in April 2011 Miller was hired for his directorial debut. CGI test footage created by Miller and Reynolds was leaked in July 2014 to an enthusiastic response, leading to Fox greenlighting the film that September. Additional casting began in early 2015, and principal photography took place in Vancouver, Canada, from March to May. Visual effects were provided by multiple vendors and ranged from the addition of blood and gore to the creation of the completely computer-generated character Colossus.

Deadpool premiered in Paris on February 8, 2016, and was released on February 12, 2016, in North America in IMAX, DLP, D-Box, and premium large formats. The film has broken numerous box office records and became the highest-grossing R-rated film of all time, the highest grossing X-Men film, and the third-highest grossing film of 2016. The film generally received positive reviews, with critics praising Reynolds' performance, the humor, and the action sequences, while criticizing the plot as formulaic. A sequel has been greenlit.

1.Before saying anything about this movie, let's just take a minute and appreciate that this movie was made and "Amazing" is the word that describes this movie very well.

2.The first thing everyone noticed was how inventive the storytelling is. The film throws you into the action from the first moment (Literally: The very first moment) and then it goes back and forth in brilliant and unexpected ways to slowly unspool the story of this insane - but oddly charming - antihero.

3.We all know flashbacks and fast-forwards can be annoying as hell, but when done right, they can help render even a somewhat simple story fresh and exciting. And that's exactly how Deadpool felt to us right from the start: like a fresh (if somewhat dirty) jolt of energy.

4.The action itself is beautifully designed, employing playful visuals and using pretty much every camera technique available; it never feels repetitive and the pacing is close to perfection.

5.The movie was amazing and that has a lot to do with how brilliantly Ryan Reynolds portrays the character and the great chemistry he has with co-star Morena Baccarin. What came as a complete surprise to us was how unabashedly romantic Deadpool is. The love story in this film is probably the most sincere one ever seen in a superhero movie and it gives the film the strong emotional core which so many of these movies lack.

6.The Humor, which was soo funny and entertaining, we almost forgot that it was a Marvel Action movie. Deadpool made us laugh too hard. But oh well, it's a clinical condition; he's not a stand-up comedian whose jokes need to land: he's a madman (albeit a very entertaining one) and the comedy in his case is born out of tragedy.

7.A piece of advice to those who are planing to watch this with there children - DON'T because Deadpool is a R-rated Movie and you seriously DONOT wanna watch this with your children unless they are 18+.

8.Overall,This movie is by far the most exciting super hero movie yet!(extremely Recommended)but please be warned, this movie is extremely inappropriate, but an absolute thrill ride.Ryan Reynolds as Deadpool is the perfect fit. Just when you think he could not get any more clever with his words, he would say the most off the wall comments possible. The fighting sequences in this were incredibly jaw dropping! Deadpool really is one of the most innovative fighters I have seen. His techniques are totally unorthodox and cannot be matched nor mimicked by any other who dares. The only thing that was not satisfying is the length of the movie. It was much shorter than expected. The backstory to Wade Wilson before becoming Deadpool is short lived. Despite that, it still was an excellent movie which totally lived upto our expectation and was worth every single penny.

(NOTE: This review is according to us and our friends and some external source here and there. Stick with us for more reviews like this and we will be doing a review on one of the series, most probably Vampire Diaries.)     ENJOY!!
