Review

1. X-Men: Apocalypse was released two days ago and the feeling of excitment still lingers. It was absolutely amazing, watching one of the most awaited movies in current time and it leaves you with a sort of emptyness inside after you finish watching it. Although, Days of Future Past had that energy, cohesion and was overwhelming to watch but Apocalypse also had that charm in many ways including the fighting scenes that was always to epic and being able to know the younger version of characters we previously met was also a great experience on sceen.

2. Let's talk a little about the movie itself. X-Men: Apocalypse primarily takes place in 1983, but it begins in ancient Egypt where En Sabah Nur/Apocalypse, the world’s first mutant, looks to merge with Celestial technology to become even more powerful. Ofcourse, some people where against it and thus his augmentation is sabotaged which results in him being trapped for centuries. When Apocalypse finally is released from his slumber, he is disgusted by the world, acquires four followers, and sets out to change things. Charles Xavier has an issue with that, and alongside Raven, Moira MacTaggert and an array of younger X-Men, including Cyclops, Jean Grey, Quicksilver, and Nightcrawler.

3.Eric had finally started to live his normal life and has a wife and a daughter but it seems his mutant power is almost a bad luck to him. His wife and daughter are killed(not intentionally) by the cops and in return Eric kills all of them with just a necklace of his daughters'(quite the power he has) and he goes over to his working place to kill all the people there, that's when Apocalypse finds him and asks Eric to join him to which Eric agrees(Eric always seems to turn to bad side easily in my opinion).

4. Regarding the four horse-men(four followers), Apocalypse first chooses Storm(Alexandra Shipp) as one of his 4 horse-men and then finds Psylocke(Olivia Munn), who leads him to Angel(Ben Hardy), and Magneto(Michael Fassbender). He hightens their mutant powers and realizes Magneto what he is capable of.

5.But, after Days Of Future Past, you’ll be left with a feeling of little underwhelmed by Apocalypse. X-Men: Apocalypse entertains us, but not quite as it's predecessors, and it’s proof that bigger and louder is not all always better. But, on Apocalypses' defence, it was a hell of a movie. I can't say it was not exciting watching it. And how it came to Jean to use her phoenix power to weaken Apocalypse, it was kind of off because X-Men: Last Stand showed us that Phoenix cannot be controlled and Wolverine had to kill her but in Apocalypse she used that power. So, it make sense the least but maybe I am overthinking.

6.Bryan Singer did a fantastic work as always. He controls the camera in a smooth and silky way, while including detailed human touches to the action and the X-Men’s use of their powers that get under your skin and are striking to see. Once again, he manages to combine the storytelling of the Marvel Cinematic Universe with the spectacle of DC, as he uses colors, silences, pans, and a mixture of intimate and grandiose framing to create a cinematic texture that's just intoxicating.

7. To sum it up, it was a totally awesome movie and is worth watching. Everything from visual to acting was amazing. If you still haven't watched it, go and watch it ASAP!!!

Messi Movie (2014) Review

Messi is a documentary film directed by Álex de la Iglesia. The film explores the rise of Argentine association football player Luis Lionel Andres Messi a.k.a Lionel Messi. The film was released on 1 January 2015. The movie is all about Leo's childhood and how he grew up playing in the local ground and clubs to become one of the greatest football player of all time.

Casts:

-Luis Lionel Andres Messi
-Johan Cruyff
-Kike Domínguez
-Álex García
-Pere Gratacós
-Andrés Iniesta
-Xavier Llorens
-Javier Mascherano
-César Luis Menotti
-Xavier Pérez Farguell
-Gerard Piqué
-José Manuel Pinto
-Alejandro Sabella
-Hugo Tocalli
-Jorge Valdano
-Ernesto Vecchio

Review:

1. First of all, I would like to say, I really really enjoyed the movie. Watching childhood memories of my best football player would definitely be a great moment for me. Seeing him doing amazing tricks at that small age was a real great moment.

2. The movie featured childhood videos of Messi playing football in local ground. Seeing those moments really made me sure that he is really god gifted. He used to do amazing skills at that time too. He was the shortest among his mates, yet his pace and foot control supported him.

3. This movie is actually covered with football legends and expert, who witnessed him growing old, talking about him. They were lucky enough to watch him grow. Seeing him practice everyday, seeing how he does all those magical skills is an amazing thing which cannot be explained in plain word for Messi Fan.

4. There is a scene where Pique describes Messi. He said something like " I tried to foul that short guy and bring him to ground, but as he started he left us in ground ". That was really epic dialogue. That actually describes Messi. If you look at his entire career, he left many world class defenders and goalkeepers on ground.

5. I actually liked how legend compared him with Diego Maradona. Just like Maradona, Messi has god-gifted foot with the talent of great dribbling. These two geniuses could go past almost any defenders. Even Maradona said that Messi did this job the best. Legends like Johan Cruyff and Pele himself said it openly that Messi is the greatest player. This is really greatest complement any football player can ever get. And if we look at Leo's game, he actually deserves that.

6. I would like to include this point for Leo himself. To be fair, I have never seen a player like that before. The way he keeps football in his feet, running at high speed, looks like there is something that glued the football with his feet. This guy did many thing that seems impossible. One thing that hold my respect to him is that, he always kept his team above him. He always cared about team record rather than personal records. And his passion to the game obviously. If anyone doubt about Messi being the best player in the world, just watch his game as a normal viewer, just focus on what he does in the pitch, I am sure your thought will change.

7. Lastly, all I have to say is that the movie was really awesome. The biography of the living legend, it was exactly what I expected to be. The way this documentary showed his childhood clips and interview with the legends describing about him was perfectly managed. I actually feel real proud to call myself as his fan.  I would like to recommend all football fans to watch this movie. You will witness how a boy suffering from growth hormone deficiency from Argentina struggled his childhood and now has reached the top of football world. This movie is really inspiring.

You can visimessi.com to join Lionel Messi's official website

Review

1. Honestly, I am too scared to watch horror movies but I don't know how I always end up watching it anyways. Conjuring scared the shit out of me and after watching Conjuring 2...well, I can only Pray!!

2. The Conjuring back in 2013 was a big success($318 million at the box office) and the sequel was obviously certain to come sooner or later. The Conjuring 2: The Enfield Poltergeist will finally be with us in the summer, and the trailer does a pretty great job of proving that it should at least be on par with the original. Gave me chills watching it. You guys can't imagine how I watched the trailer in order to write this review.

3. That looked scary enough to me. Especially the old man lunging out of the shadows towards the end in the first trailer. James Wan, who mostly recently oversaw Furious 7 and has been tasked with directing Aquaman, looks as though he has done a great job creating a creepy as f*ck world that is familiar but populated with strange things going on.

4. In “Does it feel like it’s coming from inside you?” “No, it feels like it’s coming from behind me.” and the entire conversation with that girl, I was barely opening my eyes and even without opening my eyes I was still afraid. Goddammit! why am I this scary cat!! Well jokes aside, not only have Patrick Wilson and Vera Farmiga agreed to return in their roles as the real-life husband and wife team of paranormal investigators, but director James Wan is once again in the director’s chair, while it’s also been written by the original’s Chad and Carey Hayes, too. The fact that they’ve been able to maintain so many members of the core team that were at the heart of what made The Conjuring so good, means that the follow up is in the best possible hands, and the trailer teases that it will be a nice continuation of the original.

5. Like the movie Conjuring, the first full trailer of The Conjuring 2 promises an equally juicy back-story for armchair paranormal investigators. Wan’s sequel crosses the Atlantic from Rhode Island to Enfield, England, where in 1977 two preteen sisters appeared to become the conduit for a malevolent presence now known as “The Enfield Poltergeist.” Touted in the trailer as “the most documented case in paranormal history,” the case has been the subject of several British TV documentaries, as well as decades of debate over whether a series of photographs of the girls taken by investigators show an innocent victim being thrown around by a powerful spirit, or an attention-starved teenager jumping out of bed for the cameras.

6. If you are scared just by the trailer(like me LOL), this movie is not for you. You can watch it though---in a mobile phone with a 4 inch screen with your eyes half open and in broad day light. That way you can watch the whole movie alone. But I can't garauntee it though. And to all those people who love everything about horror than this movie is totally a "must watch".

7. Overall, Conjuring 2 is going to be a great and I don't mean a good-great, it's gonna be a scary-great. It will live up to our expectation. It should because most of the ones who made The Conjuring a huge success are also involved in this one and it will be competing with Now You See Me 2 and Warcraft  So, this is one of the looking-forward-to-movies. That's it for this one. Hope you enjoy it!!

Review:

1. In the first sequel of the movie, the boy's team lead by Zac were having party at Seth's neighbour, but in this sequel, the ladies team are having fun. So, this is something special to watch in this movie.

2. An extremely funny and smart sequel that's better than the first, I repeat, better than the first. It really is a feminist film, but in the best possible way coming from this fan of "bro" films. When are people going to start acknowledging what a funny actor Zac Efron is? He's great in this, and he was awesome in Dirty Grandpa - another totally under-appreciated comedy. Chloë has actually found her wheelhouse role. She got really cute face and she is developing herself as a professional actor, she got bright future ahead. And the supporting actors/actresses are brilliant in this film.

3. In this movie, they've flipped the script, creating a feminist party classic that's completely current and doesn't skimp on any of the wild humour. It's also even better than its predecessor.

4. Zac and Seth in same team? haha yeah, like I mentioned in previous point, they flipped the script. Now they are seen as ally/ex-enemy. They struggle to beat those wild partying ladies to create peaceful environment.

5. Seth Rogen is brilliant as usual. He got unique sense of humour and weird laughter that can make anyone laugh haha. To be fair, I became his fan because of his laughter.

6. One of the best moment of this movie, you can even see this in trailer, Seth painting fake 6 pac abs on his body while he was with Zac. That joker laughter was extremely hilarious, Zac shout at him to shut up, but imagine how much they laughed while shooting that scene.

7. At last, I would like to say that the hard work and passion of cast and crew members can be seen in the movie. The result of hard work is this awesome movie. I bet you will regret not watching this movie, so grab your money and run towards the theatre.

Review

1. After all the Gods, science and technology movies that marvel has showed us, we have finally come to some sorcery and let me tell you that the trailer alone will blow you away. Yea! it's that fantastic & mind-bending and it's only the first one.

2. Everyone is aware to the fact that it is an origin story and a must need one because Doctor Strange origin is unique and important enough that it simply has to be told on its own and without it wouldn't be so exciting just to jump to the action. You have to know how he learned all those magic and other cool stuffs.

3. The movie is quite faithful to Doctor Strange's comic book origin, which was first told in Strange Tales #115 in 1963 by Stan Lee and Steve Ditko(the creaters of Docter Strange). The thing is Doctor Strange himself first appeared a few issues earlier, in Strange Tales #110, but he was just a mysterious sorcerer, and no real explanation was given for why he was the Sorcerer Supreme. Maybe even Marvel Comics was tiring of origin stories back then. Well who knows let's get into this trailer.

4. The trailer starts of with Doctor Strange in a very bad car accident that wrecks his hands, leaving him without a career or an identity. And you know what that means if you have read the comics and if you haven't than possible spoilers! but come one even a 10 years old kid will know it by only watching the trailer.

5. So, what's the use of a surgeon with wrecked hands? So, in order to restore his mangled hands to their former glory, Doctor Strange is showed going on a journey to every place possible where he can find a way to heal his hands. The picture above is of Pasupati Nath Temple in Nepal(exact:Kathmandu) and the other one shown in th trailer is of Tibet where he learns from the Ancient One.

6.“Stephen Strange. Might I offer you some advice? Forget everything that you think you know.” Although his voice is distorted in the trailer, this opening narration sounds like Chiwetel Ejiofor, who is playing Baron Mordo in the film. And Rachel McAdams, who plays Strange’s love interest in the film is only shown once when she and th others are talking him into a operation theatre. Despite a variety of early rumors suggesting that she was playing a character cut deep from Marvel comic book lore, we still don’t know who she’s playing. Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige refused to offer a name, but he did say this much: “Rachel McAdams plays a fellow surgeon that has a history with Strange and is his sort of lynchpin to his old life, once he steps into he role of a sorcerer. She is someone he connects with at the beginning, and reconnects with, and helps anchor his humanity.”

7. In the comic book origins of Doctor Strange, Stephen Strange is an arrogant and seemingly untouchable professional being brought to his lowest point. So, since this movie is quite faithful to the comic book, the scenes where Stephen Strange is standing all high and mighty in his expensive apartment drinking wine while looking down to the city and extremely devastated and like the one who doesn't know what comes next are shown wine while looking down to the city and extremely devastated and like the one who doesn't know what comes next are shown which is a good way to show a person who has everything and loses it later. But, the good part comes after he loses everything because he gains something far more greater.

8. Baron Mordo, like in the comic book, is another student of the Ancient One, but unlike his comic book counterpart, it doesn’t look like he’s going to attempt to murder his mentor in a brutal attempt to obtain her magical powers. At least up till now, but who knows what happens because it's only the first trailer and at least 2 or 3 more are yet to come. So, hang on tight.

9. In the original Marvel comic book continuity, Doctor Strange meets the Ancient One in the Himalayas and trains under him while living high in the mountains. While in the trailer, even though they visit the himalayas, the his initial encounter with the ancient one is shown in the temples seeing how everything is old and mystical. And as soon the the scene where a symbol is shown from above comes, I know every one who has read comics and is marvel fan said it in their mind that it has to be the Tesseract. Well, I cannot say for certain whether it is the Tesseract or not but it seems to be it with the stone like thing in it's centre which is one of the 6 stones harnessed by Thanos. Like I said nothing is sure since it is only the 1st trailer.

10. This one has to be one of the coolest scene in the trailer: the Ancient One punches Stephen Strange and knocks his Astral Form out of his body. This is our first glimpse at one of the character’s most famous abilities. With his spirit separated from his physical form, he can leave his body behind and explore the Astral Plane, jumping between worlds and dimensions that are entirely unlike our own. The psychedelic and colorful Astral Plane is a mainstay in Doctor Strange comics, so we can only hope that the cinematic version is as wild and crazy as artist Steve Ditko‘s original drawings.

11. The second most coolest scene in the trailer is when Mads Mikkelsen, playing the villain in Doctor Strange, is shown. His identity has yet to be revealed clearly. His big introduction in the trailer doesn’t make it any clearer. The way he manipulates his surroundings like a giant kaleidoscope looks like he is summoning the either Nightmare or Dormammu (the most likely villainous contenders). My money is on Doramammu because of the strange, burnt-out eye makeup that he's(Mads Mikkelsen as Nameless Villian) wearing. Dormammu is always depicted with a flaming head, so this might be him starting to burn his way out of ol' Mads, but it’s a pretty incredible visual.

12.And here comes the third most coolest scene in the trailer: New York City folding in on itself, looks soo similar like in Inception. I can't really tell what is going on in this scene but there is a man in the middle of it. It might be Doctor stange himself as the man is wearing a cape. Well I cannot tell it for sure. Leave your views in the comment below.

13.In the last scene, Doctor strange is shown falling from somewhere(From other dimension I guess where the ancient one threw him) and requesting her to teach him and in the very last scene Doctor strange is shown climbing up the stairs all superhero style read for a fight i guess. So, overall I can't wait to watch this movie as it looks so good. Really Excited about it!!

Central Intelligence Trailer Review

Central Intelligence is an upcoming American action comedy film directed by Rawson Marshall Thurber and written by Thurber, Ike Barinholtz, and David Stassen. The film is scheduled to be released on June 17, 2016

Cast:

-Dwayne Johnson as Bob Stone
-Kevin Hart as Calvin
-Amy Ryan
-Aaron Paul
-Danielle Nicolet as Maggie
-Timothy John Smith as Agent Nick Green
-Megan Park as Lexi

Review:

1. The first scene of the trailer was dancing young fat Dwayne Johnson with braces. That scene was so hilarious,we had to pause the video and laugh. That scene was really unexpected, I mean who would have thought that they would show fat version of The Rock, isn't it?

2. Obviously, the movie is action comedy. What else could you expect when there are Dwayne and Kevin in the same movie. Although Dwayne can be dead serious but at the same time funny too (Like In Fast And Furious).

3. We Expect the movie will turn out great. The actions that are shown in this trailer are pretty good. There were quite the handful of stunts shown in the trailer. Rock could obviously do the stunts, but seeing Kevin Hart do it(no puns intended) was quite surprising. People who are thinking that the stunts were done by stunt mans should know that according to posts of Kevin Hart in his instagram and other social media, he did his own stunts.

4. Kevin Hart's comedy is really something that drag me into theatre. Like I mentioned in previous review of Ride Along 2, even his normal talk can make me laugh. He got that god gifted voice, and when it mixes with a great sense of humor, there is nothing more funny to watch. I am sure audiences are going to enjoy this movie.

5. Dwayne and Kevin have got awesome chemistry, maybe this is why the trailer seems so great, and hope the movie will be too. We all know they are great friends in real life too, so maybe they got more comfortable working with each other.

That Backflip was totally Hilarious!!! and the Action is hardcore  in the trailer.

6. Lastly, I would like to praise entire crew members whose hard working and passion can be seen in the trailer and of course the movie too. Trailer reflects the movie, so I hope the movie will be as awesome as its trailer. Hope you guys enjoy this movie as much as we are excited for it to be released.

Cast:
-Grant Gustin as Barry Allen/Flash

-Jesse L. Martin as Joe West
-Keiynan Lonsdale as Wally West
-John Wesley shipp as Henry Allen and many more.

(Alert! This contains Spoiler for those who haven't watched this episode yet.)

Review

1. The previous episode was a great and emotional one. Barry gets gets stuck in the speed force and gets all emotional after talking to his mother mother(I know it's the speed force but we can say that his mother, right?) and due to this he gets his speed back and Iris comes to bring him back to the real world and they beat the Zombie Tony and brings Jesse back from her slpeeing state by touching her hand and transferring some speed force I guess(Since Jesse will be a speedster in coming future).

2. The new episode starts with the Meta Humans that zoom gathered destroying central city. Joe and his boss were, of course, saved by the flash. Iris is writing about this attack and how people are calling it Metapocalypse and giving people hope by saying "In this dark times, we must never forget our own strength, our own power to fight back."

3. Then Zoom is standing at the top of a building watching flash save all those people. Back at the S.T.A.R Labs where Barry is already there(the perks of being fast I guess), Caitlin is back and she tells everyone that Zoom let him go(kinda suspicious). Oh well, she is back that's what really matters to everyone anyways and Barry is acting all overconfidence to which everyone is worried and decide that one of them should talk to him.

4. Cisco, is apparently the one to talk to him but when he is trying to talk to Barry about that he Vibes and there is a attack in Mercury Labs and Barry rushes to the rescue. And the one who is attacking the Mercury Labs is, well everyone already have a hint, yea she is Laurel Lance(well not exactly since she is evil but well she is the real Laurels' doppelganger I guess). To tell you the truth, after her tragic death in Arrow I am quite happy to see her again and her evil look is way sexier and badass then the one in Arrow.

5. Tina McGee is saved by the flash and she knows Barry is the flash(everyone is starting to know who The Flash is anyways and they add Tina. well go on add some more people) and they decide to research who the attacker is(they don't know yet) and flash brings back the black box thing for them to see into from mercury labs and tells everyone that he is go see if Joe needs any help and Henry and Barry have some father and son talks.

(5.5) And did anyone notice Henry totally all over Tina. Well Henry should have a little happiness too. haha.

6. After that Cisco is having all this vibes about dead birds and Caitlin is seeing Zoom everywhere due to her trauma from being in captivity. Well everyone is having problems here and flash cannot solve them all. They have to deal with it in their own way.

7. Well that's that. Not gonna spoil you guys anymore by tell what happens next especially at the last part. This was just upto the 1st half of this episode. Overall, this episode was great. Go watch it now, if not you are missing something great and if you haven't even started watching Flash, do it fast and you can catch up with it. The Flash is a really recommended Tv show to all DC fans and even people who are not that much of a fan can watch it and will surely like it.

The next episode of The Flash airs on  25 May 2016.

Review:

1. As a football fan, it always fascinated me to know how does it feel to be a professional football player, getting fans all over the world, living the different lifestyle, meeting football experts and legends and many more. Maybe that is the reason I watched the movie. I am not a big fan of Cristiano but I always considered him as one of the greatest, in fact he is one of the two football players including Messi who defined football of this generation. These two players took football to extreme level, creating many records that would be hardly broken in future, scored many goals and earned many trophy. But other then football life, they got their private life, and I always wanted to know how is their personal life. This is the main reason that dragged me into this movie.

2. We heard many of Cristiano's childhood. We all know how much he struggled. I thought maybe they would focus more on that on this movie. But this movie is full of interview with his friends, family and agents and his current daily life. This was a disappointing side of this movie. But overall, I enjoyed this movie. It was still great to see his daily life. Seeing his house, cars and his other property made me and my friend a kind of jealous. There is a scene where he opens garage and asks his son which car is missing. In the garage there were many expensive cars that we people dream about. Ferrari, Lamborghini, Porsche, Mercedes, Rolls  Royce and many other. And his son actually identifies the missing car. This scene made me real jealous(who wouldn't?)

His Love for his Son is immense as everyone already knows it.

3. As a big fan of Messi, this movie gave me many happy moments since Leo was included in this movie many times. Both of them said many times that they respect each other and do not see each other as rivals but as a person who make them better player. Personally, I don't think they don't see each other as rivals. Definitely there is a feeling of rivalry, but also this is the reason these two players are becoming better player every day. Both of them wants to prove
themselves better then other, so they work hard everyday.

4. In the movie Cristiano said that his son, Cristiano Jr., doesn't know about his real mother and he will know when it's the right time. That was a moment when I felt an huge respect towards him. He is taking solo custody of his son, which is a kind of rare these days. So, I believe he deserves respect for this.

5. A mother's love can't be hidden. Even in this movie, we can see the love bonding between Cristiano and his mother. The pain of the mother seeing his son struggling to win the biggest title, FIFA World Cup, but failing is something hard to see. Cristiano sharing moments with his family including his son, mother, brother, agent, friends and other was definitely amazing moments to see. We could witness the life of professional family from close angle.

6. Seeing Cristiano Jr. being shy with Messi was a happy moment of this movie. Cristiano's mother said, "he (Jr) cant believe he (Messi) is actually here", this dialogue made me in shock. Ronaldo even said it later that his son is big fan of Messi. The world where one player is loved by half of the world and hated by rest half because of his biggest rival, but knowing that they respect and admire each other and even his son is one of the fan of his rival. This was certainly something awesome to know.

7. Other then his private life, the movie also contain his football life. Showing his goals, moves, skills, winning trophies and more. We could definitely witness beauty of football in this movie. Somewhere in the movie they even showed the ego of Ronaldo, this is something he really needs to improve, because its the character that defines the person. I don't find anyother reason to hate this man. I am a Messi fan, but that doesn't mean I must hate him. Yeah, I see him as a rival but after all he is one the best player of the sports that I am personally involved with. He is a rival not enemy.

8. At last, I would like to say that this movie was really awesome. There are very few movies that showed the life of any professional football player, so this one was fascinating. Although this movie received very low rating from critics, but I would say this one was awesome and surely deserves better rating. All I can say is, if you are football fan, then you must watch this movie.

Review

1. So this movie is about reunion of father and son and his thought-to-be-long-lost-race. Po has been tracked down by his father, which would be great news if it weren’t for the god-like warrior who has come from the spirit realm to destroy every kung fu master. So it falls to Po, who is still a bit dubious about being the Dragon Warrior, to learn who he can be and, in his relationship with his dad, find out where he came from. And we all get a chirpy lesson in the philosophy of ch’i, which is something to do with plants, closing your eyes and flashing light from the palm(haha).

2. The movie starts off in the exploding mountains of the spirit realm where oogway fights with Kai and eventually loses to him and kai has harnessed his power along with all other masters in spirit realm and is then able to go back to the real world(ofcourse in the movie).

3. Then there somes the fun and comedy part where Po is told by Master Shifu to teach his friends(you know who they are). After that, Po is reunited with his father at his foster father's restaurant(don't be confused here haha).

4. And they are attacked and he has to go with his real dad who is able to teach him that palm technique which obviously is a lie(anyone can tell by the way he talks to him about it). Po has to fight kai af this and etc etc.. We don't want to ruin your time watching this movie by elling everything here. Just alittle bit hints here and there for those who have not watched it yet.

5. The girl panda in the hills is all flirting with Po which personally I did not like cause weirdly enough, I ship Po and Tigress. Yes yes you can call me crazy but it's what i think. Well some of you out there may share the same feeling. Let us know in the comments down below.

6. And many of you asking about if there will be a Kung Fu Panda 4. In an interview with Empire, DreamWorks Animation chief Jeffrey Katzenberg talked about the possibility of producing Kung Fu Panda 4. While the interview happened even before the third movie was released, Katzenberg held that they are looking forward to making not just one, but three more movies, after Kung Fu Panda 3.

7. So Overall this movie is great. I don't know why IMDb rated it only 7.3 out 10. This movie was a sure 8+ if you ask me. It had action, comedy and everthing you can expect from Kung Fu Panda 3. And the most hilaroius part was when Po and Kai meet for the first time and he teases him. That
quite literally made me laugh for a while. This movie is totally recommended if you haven't watched it and totally worth you money Well, that's it, hope you  like it & be sure to let us know about your views and you can also request for reviews on particular movie that is in your mind. See You in the next review.

-Ben Affleck appears as Batman

Review

1.Truth to be told I am more excited for Suicide Squad movie than I was with Dawn of Justice(Batman vs Superman). Why?, you will know it when you watch the trailer.

2.They are villian who are forced to do something good. Well, that's pretty different than normal villains but they will eventually become bad again I hope. But knowing that this movie is entirely about villains gets me all hyped up.

3.In this trailer, Amanda Waller convinces all those government officials suicide squad is a team of bad people who can do something good. How? because one of them brought up "What if Superman goes rogue?". Geez, everyone is so afraid of Superman. Well, I don't blame them cause he IS Superman after all.

4.Then the Joker laugh, it got me chills running down my spine. So far in trailer, Jared Leto did an absolutely amazing job playin The Joker. But Heath Ledger is still my favourite. His death was too sad :(

5. Well moving on in the trailer, all the to-be members of suicide squad are brought in some military base camp and are given weapons to be used. But I have to say Harley Quinn looks sexy as hell and you guys have to admit that she does. If you don't agree then you have to be blind.

6.And the music really pumps you up too. Queen - Bohemian Rhapsody, Sweet - Ballroom Blitz and Grace - You don't own me are well synced with the trailer and I am amazed how well it matched to the trailer and the fighting scenes.

7.This trailer was more or less the same style of the second trailer, but it also boosts my confidence in this movie even more. It shoed great in  the humor, the character interaction, and the sense of fun that DC is capable of having with the right crew involved. David Ayer supposedly had complete creative control over this movie with very little interference from the studio, so hopefully the movie can replicate the same sense of fun that these trailers have.

But DC should stop any further release of the trailers because it will ruin watching the movie. Suspense is always better and it gets people really excited and puped up. So Please DC, No more trailers now!!

Review:

First of all, There is not one single person in this entire planet, who is a X-Men Fan, and is not excited for this Movie. Well We are too excited for this one and will be watching it as soon as it releases.

1. X-Men: Apocalypse is actually released at very risky date. Since three game-changing franchise films for three rival superhero franchises including "Captain America: Civil War" and "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" were recently released. So, it will be interesting to see which of these 3 rivals will get best response from the public. The other two got mixed review, this one is yet to see.

2. It is the biggest X-Men film to date in every way possible. Its scale and impact on the franchise will be more significant and it includes more mutant characters from Marvel Comics than any of the previous films.

3. Following the events of X-Men: Days of Future Past, Xavier and his First Class crew occupy a different timeline. Magneto’s still an enemy, but heroes who were introduced by director Bryan Singer in the initial X-Men trilogy are now played by younger actors. Jean Grey (Sophie Turner) and Scott Summers (Tye Sheridan) are students at Xavier’s school, while their eventual team-mate, Storm (Alexandra Shipp), is in Egypt… and about to become the tool of the mighty, terrifying Apocalypse (Isaac).

4. This movie has an insane amount of characters involved in the action, and truthfully, part of the reason we’re so excited to see it is to witness how Bryan Singer manages to juggle each and every storyline. We know that we are getting fresh versions of classic characters like Angel (Ben Hardy) and Nightcrawler (Kodi Smit McPhee). And he has to make room for the stalwarts of the First Class nation, including Jennifer Lawrence, Michael Fassbender and McAvoy. All while neglecting to shortchange the new villain, who is supposed to be a global threat – as is indicated by Xaver’s final words in this new trailer.

5. Thank God!  Hugh Jackman a.k.a Wolverine is also in this movie. Come on! X-Men without Wolverine is like a lake without water. He is one of the main character of this franchise after all.

6. The X-Men adventures keep getting bigger, but director Bryan Singer works extremely hard to ensure that, even when they’re not always better, they continue to thrill sufficiently.

7. The hard work of the crew and cast members is the result seen on trailer and will be seen on theatre on its respective release date. We are absolutely excited for the movie to be released in our nation and we are waiting desperately for that date. So, grab your money and run for the tickets because the real fun is always inside theatre. This Movie is gonna be a Blast!

(Alert!! This post contains Spoilers for those who have not watched the new episode yet)

The new episode i.e. Episode 3 of Season 6 was out yestarday and the excitment of that still lingers in people mind and heart. Between college and everything else I can manage a little time for this blog. But despite all that, I still want to write and share my views with all of you guys. I watched the new episode of game of thrones and well to see Jon Snow rise again was sure a hell of an excitment. Episode 2 of season 6 left us with Jon Snow opening his eyes and that made us desparate to watch episode 3 and finally it is here. The new episode starts off with Ser Davos staring at the sight of seeing Jon Snow alive and could not believe his eyes. Well, infact, Jon Snow was surprised himself. Though we can't blame him for it because being back from the dead is not a common thing but the one thing that changed was everyone started to like Melisandre(her horrifying change in figure in epsiode 1). Then, Jon Snow tells Ser Davos how he failed for trying to do what he thought was right and Sir Davos tells him to go fail again which if you asked was a pretty great line. He tells Snow to fight as long as you can and put all the shit together.  When Jon Snow come out to the people of Nights watch and other wildlings who telling he was a god to come back from the dead but Tormund Giantsbane cracks a dick joke ("I saw your pecker. What kind of god would have a pecker that small?") which was totally hilarious and makes me wondow if Kit Harington really has a "small pecker". He then hugs his friend Eddison Tollett who asks him if he is really himself, to which Jon Snow reply I think so.

Moving on Sam and Gilly was on their way to Old Town in a ship and Sam is seasick and is vomiting non-stop which was gross and made me want to vomit. But beside that, Gilly is excited but Sam tells her that Citadel doesnot admit women and there won't be a place for her and little Sam(the way he says it sounds so freaking cute!). Gilly tells her that she will stay in old town to which save disagree which shows the concern of him about the saftey of her. Sam tells Gilly that he is taking her to Horn Hill(Sam's Home). Gilly argues with him but eventually agrees saying they trust him. Their Love for each other is growing slowing and I hope she or he doesnot get killed.(Finger Crossed!)

Further into the episode, Bran Stark and The Three-Eyed Raven are busy visiting the past. We see young Ned Stark and Meera's dad Howland take on someone called Ser Auther Dayne aka The Sword of the Morning and the Lord Commander of the Kingsguard Gerold Hightower, which I had to look up online(no one can know everything but we still know more than Jon Snow who knows nothing). Bran tries to chase after his dad, but the Raven cuts the vision short. Bran, who has quickly become a full-blown vision addict, is not happy about this. But the Raven assures him that as soon as the history lesson is over he'll be able to get back out into the world. "You won't be an old man in a tree," are his exact words.

Finally the beautiful Daenerys Targaryen is shown. She arrives at Vaes Dothrak(The Temple Of Dosh Khaleen), which(if you don't kow) is a place where Khaleesi has to go when her Khal dies. After she is send into the Khaleesi retirement home(I find this name funny) she gets a nice dressing down by the Dosh Khaleen. And They're like "You thought you can so whatever you like and go wherever you like afer your husband died?? NO!!". Ok they don't say this but they sounded like this. You can watch it if you still haven't.

It's time to get back to Meereen. After fashion policing the Unsullied ("I just don't know how you stand it in all that leather" -Varys, which made laugh quite a bit) Varys brings in one of the Sons of the Harpy's assassins(Vala) and bribes her into telling him who's behind all the recent murder of Unsullied and the second sons. And the bribing and providing the safety for her and her son, Dom works perfectly. She tells Varys who are funding the assassins. The coalition of Tyrion, Missandei, and Grey Worm is supposed to be a clash of personalities who are stuck together and forced to make their city-state run. The problem is that Missandei and GW are both underdeveloped characters, and Tyrion is so overcooked as a presence and meme both within and outside the world of the show that the scene is terribly unflattering to all. Missandei and Grey Worm are exposed to be the bores that they are; Tyrion spouts obnoxious internet-pandering one liners we saw coming so long ago I think they actually popped up in Bran's flashback. And nobody's even doing anything — they are literally staring at each other across a table. This shit is not a good look! And to make matters worse, Varys comes in after finding out who were funding the assassins and told Tyrion, Missandei, and Grey Worm that it actually were their neighbours, Masters of Astapor and Yunkai.

At King's Landing, Cersei Lannister is putting Varys' whispers to some actual use: destroying everyone who says anything remotely bad about her, naturally. As someone who also depends on little birds for information, I feel like Cersei should be warned — they're still pretty slow when it comes to stopping harassment. Anyway, our new power trio of Cersei, Jaime Lannister, and The Mountain head up to the High Council to make sure Crushing Our Enemies (i.e., Jaime and Cersei's Enemies) is on the royal agenda. And who's waiting for them there but the Olenna Tyrel and, because Cersei does that thing where she forgets she's not the queen, and clearly needs help. "Margaery is the queen. You are not the queen, because you're not married to the king," Olenna explains patiently. "I do appreciate these things can get a bit confusing in your family." which was a "total in your face bitch!" to Cersi. In Next scene, Tommen Baratheon brings the Kingsguard with him to confront The High Sparrow, but he is quite a smooth talker soon this turns out both of them sitting and having a classic bench chat(what a total turns of events!!)

Finally, let's get back to the House of Black and White, where no-longer-a-beggar Arya Stark is back in full-on training mode. Despite of her blindness, she has grown a lot and her fighting skills are improving. When she was finally adapting to her blindness, Jaqen H'ghar offers her a drink of water from the same pool that she saw poison a man early on in her tenure as no one. "If a girl is truly no one, she has nothing to fear," says Jaqen and she drinks it and her blindness is gone. Well not that I am not happy she is not blind anymore but she would have been a kick-ass even in her blind state. Well so far so good.

And at the last few minutes of the episode, Ramsy is brought with a gift who are Osha and Rickon Stark. Hope Ramsy doesn't torture Rickon and rape Osha but knowing him he probably will. Stay tuned for the next episode everyone, The Air Date is 15 May, 2016

Review:

1. First of all, I want to say that I found the movie kinda realistic. Maybe it'ss because I am from Nepal. Its been a year since we faced a major strike of earthquake of 7.6 and 6.7 richter scale with few days of gap between them and hundreds of aftershocks which is continues even till now. So, we all in Nepal felt the destructive power of nature. It was a near death experience. So, watching the movie San Andreas was thriller experience for me.

2. 3-D version should be awesome since we did not get a chance to watch it in 3-D. But we know that most of you watched it in 3-D. That must have been an amazing experience.

3. Visual effects were awesome in the movie. Animation crew deserves a massive respect for the job they did. Turning green screen into collapsing building is definitely not an easy task. They did this quite amazingly.

4. Personally, I think the story could have been better. There were many amazing things they could have added that would made this movie even better. But, nevertheless, the movie was great.

5. But , Ray, being a rescue team "Chief" only rescued a girl at beginning of the movie and the rest of the movie he was just saving and searching for his family. So, it was somewhat not right.

6. Other than the story, The movie was fantastic. Acting, screenplay, action, editing, music and all the other part of the movie were awesome. We are not saying that the story was bad, but we expected something more than that.

7. Critics gave this movie really low rating than it deserved. IMDb gave this movie only 6.1 out of 10 where as other critics gave then less then 50%. I would say this movie should have at least 7.

8. At last, we would like to recommend all of you to watch this movie. I am sure most of you have already watched the movie. For those who have not yet watched this movie, you are missing out something great. And Come On Guys it's "The Rock".

Well!! you guys know how it ends. Cheers!!

-Quentin Kenihan as Corpus Colossus

1.Personally, I liked this movie way too much. It was as crazy, thrilling, gorgeous and awesome as anyone could really hope, and guaranteed to be one of the best big-screen spectacles of the year. This movie was just Go! Go! Go! and donot let them catch you.

2.The villains are decked out in all kinds of crazy-yet-weirdly-practical costumes and makeup, helping us perfectly understand why Max, Furiosa and the women can’t get away fast enough. The appearance of Immortan Joe is art all by itself – with Keays-Byrne looking absolutely monstrous wearing a fang-filled breathing apparatus and white gladiator armor to match his deathly pale skin – but really, his entire army of skeleton-painted cult followers will send a shiver down your spine (including Nicholas Hoult as Nux, a devout follower of Joe’s who winds up being manacled to the titular hero).

3.And of course the cars and other vehicles that roared like a beast and the driving is just crazy. The chase is awesome in many ways including the music and ofcourse the electric guitarist who is strung up like a marionette amongst the war drummers, wearing a frightening mask and has an instrument that doubles as a flamethrower.

4.Tom hardy and every single person did an absolutely amazing job to play their character seeing how crazy they were in the movie. It can be quite hard to go on a rampage like that cause as it seems easy to most of the viewrs but acting is actually quite hard. So, they deserve respect as well as a huge round of cheerings. Well Done everyone!!

5.“Fury Road” is remarkable enough as a pure technical accomplishment—a film that laughs in the face of blockbuster CGI orgies with some of the best editing and sound design the genre has ever seen. We cannot tell you everything here you have to watch it to know it.

6.And ofcourse the beauties. The actresses in this movie will surely not disappoint you. They are like a bliss to the eyes in that crazy world.

7.It’s bombastically entertaining and action packed, but it doesn’t disregard emotion and story; and it’s a fitting follow-up that will make lovers of the Road Warrior giddy. But it’s also entirely accessible to those who have never even heard of the Mel Gibson-starring films. It’s a tremendous cinematic experience courtesy of George Miller, and a must-see. You all will surely be entertained by this movie. you can also check out the franchis:

-Mad Max (1979)
-Mad Max 2: The Road Warrior (1981)
-Mad Max Beyond Thunderdome (1985)
-And The latest one i.e Mad Max: Fury Road (2015)

-Future:

Miller and McCarthy found during the writing process for Mad Max: Fury Road that they had enough story material for two additional scripts. One of these, entitled Mad Max: Furiosa, had already been completed, and Miller hoped to film it after the release of Fury Road. In March 2015, during an interview with Esquire magazine, Hardy revealed that he was attached to star in three more Mad Max films following Fury Road. After the release of Fury Road, Miller announced that he would like to make a follow-up titled Mad Max: The Wasteland, which he later clarified was "just a working title". Miller reaffirmed his intent to continue the franchise after reports to the contrary surfaced following an interview in January 2016.

The Vampire Diaries - Season 7 Episode 21

Review

10. (Yes, it is literally the 10th point but we decided to put it up at the top for the ones to haven't even watched a single episode of  "The Vampire Diaries").  The name says it all. Basically it is about Vampires but more (you will have a faint idea if you read the description below). We cannot say much about it but this series is long, lengthening up to season 7 and is yet to be finished. So you can start watching now and hope you will not get addicted (which is in fact a good thing). To Sum it up it is an absolutely amazing series. Go watch it after reading  and you can thank us later.

Since this is the first time we are posting review of any series and a series not like a movie because of its length, we want to post basic background of this series,

The Vampire Diaries is an American supernatural drama television series developed by Kevin Williamson and Julie Plec, based on the popular book series of the same name written by L. J. Smith.

Cast:

-Ian Somerhalder as Damon Salvatore
-Kat Graham as Bonnie Bennett
-Paul Wesley as Stefan Salvatore
-Candice King as Caroline Forbes
-Zach Roerig as Matt Donovan
-Michael Trevino as Tyler Lockwood
-Nina Dobrev as Elena Gilbert
-Steven R. McQueen as Jeremy Gilbert
-Matthew Davis as Alaric Saltzman
-Michael Malarkey as  Enzo St. John
-Joseph Morgan as Klaus Mikaelson
-Elizabeth Blackmore as Valerie Tulle
-Annie Wersching as Lily Salvatore

(This contains Spoilers regarding Season 7 Episode 21 for those who have yet to watch it.)

1. End of Episode 20 was a twist. Bonnie was resurrected because Rayna sacrified her life for Bonnie. But turned out she actually gave Bonnie her unfinished job of killing Vampires. So according to it, Bonnnie will be killing her friends including her boyfriend Enzo. So, the episode 21 is all about saving Bonnie's life and also protecting themselves from her.

2. It was great seeing Caroline (Candice) in the show once again. She couldn't be on the show due to her personal problem, i.e. she was pregnant in real. But now she is giving her most possible time to the show.

3. Enzo and Caroline trying their power to connect with Bonnie's body was awesome idea to wake her up, but turns out she leaves a scar ( like Rayna used to do ) to both of their bodies. So Bonnie can easily track them.

4. Damon, as usual think from his own perspective and do whatever he wants to. So, this time he tries to connect Bonnie with his power and as he reach there, he tries to provoke her and kill her in her dream. This time he succeed and Bonnie wakes up. That was a evil idea actually, but he wants Bonnie to wake up anyway, so he did it.

5. Spoiler to those, Stefan and Caroline are running together this time since Caroline has the scar on her body. Seeing these two together again was actually awesome moment. Stefan tells her real story about why he left, and the misunderstanding is cleared.

6. Enzo ask Matt for help to get old Bonnie back. He talks to Bonnie to be herself. Bonnie agrees but she wants to kill Damon at first. Matt agrees to kill him, but turns out he helped Damon and he shot Bonnie so that they can fix her. I didn't expected that to be fair. Since its Damon who killed his entire family and Matt always hated Damon, I thought maybe he will actually shot Damon.

7. Personally I think Caroline was awesome in the series. She is fantastic actor and is too cute. She is my best character from current crew. So, I decided to add this point just for her (haha).

8. Prediction for episode 22, which is probably last episode of this season: To fix Bonnie, either have to be emotional or use witch power. Since Bonnie is victim, Valerie is gone, Lily and her family are also gone, so no witch is left. So maybe they might introduce new character. So, they might use Alaric's twin kid who was born with witch power. Since they are too small, this might not be useful idea actually. Or, they might bring some character from past, maybe Klaus once again or some of his family. I hope next prediction would be more interesting then any of previous.

9. Overall, I enjoyed this episode. The story baseline was awesome and it left another mystery to people for next episode making this show even more interesting. The cast and crew did fantastic job there. The result of hard-work and dedication is seen in this episode. In case, you have not watched the episode, sorry for the spoiler. If you have already watched the episode, please do leave a comment below whether or not you agreed with my point of view and share your point of view.

1. First off, no one can deny the fact that everyone were soo hyped to see Spiderman in the movie more than anyone when the trailer showed Tony Stark a.k.a Ironman shouted for the underroos. First thing, it felt great and exciting to see spiderman even though it was for a short time.

2. This film isn’t just about singular impressive performances, however: it’s an opportunity to see how these heroes both relate to each other and act when they are at odds. But it is heart breaking to watched Tony Stark(Iron Man) and Steve Rogers(Captain America), I mean, who wants such good friends fighting against each other??

3. One thing that we can all agree on is how amazingly good the Black Panther was. Chadwick Boseman did a great job of completely adapting his personality of his character. Everything from his suit to his fighting style was amazing and that retractable claws just blew me away.

4. I,  personally, found it great how Tony Stark a.k.a Iron Man cracked jokes now and then even in the midest of fight. Hawkeye, Antman and Spiderman were hilaroius too. So to sum it up every one did an excellent job of bring their characters into life. a huge rounf of Applause to them!!

5. And who can forget that new Iron Man Armor: Mark XLVI. The Mark XLVI Armor is Tony Stark's forty-sixth Iron Man suit. It was built after Mark XLV was damaged during the Battle of Sokovia and is the most advanced suit Tony has made, so far. Unlike prior variations on the armor, which had at most a removable faceplate, this armor has a fully-collapsible helmet which is one of it's new feature (without a doubt looks Dope).

6. Captain America: Civil War is not just some basic superhero movie where heroes meet villain; heroes get beaten by villain; heroes recuperate; heroes defeat villain in large-scale showdown, it shows us how even close friends can be turned against each other by some simple pull of strings. But the part where Tony Stark knew that Bucky (even though he was not himself then) was the one who killed his parents was so sad to watch. Anyone can snap! after watching it. Tony Stark we don't blame you for this. Neither Rogers can be blamed for helping his friends. Argh!! it is complicated.

7. Overall, this movie is too good. Better than Dawn of Justice if I must say so personally. So many Admired Marvel characters in a single movie is a bliss to the eyes. But to tell you the truth It's no fun in telling every single thing here because watching the movie will be more exciting. What good is a movie if you do not watch it and only read about it? So get your ass out of here and go watch it. You will surely not regret it.

The Revenant

Review

The Revenant is a 2015 American survival drama film directed, co-produced and co-written by Alejandro G. Iñárritu. The screenplay by Iñárritu and Mark L. Smith is based in part on Michael Punke's novel of the same name, inspired by the experiences of frontiersman Hugh Glass in 1823, in what is now Montana and South Dakota. It stars Leonardo DiCaprio as Glass, and co-stars Tom Hardy, Domhnall Gleeson and Will Poulter. The film follows Glass's quest for revenge after one of his men betrays him, kills his son, and leaves the severely wounded Glass behind.

Development began in August 2001 when producer Akiva Goldsman purchased Punke's manuscript. Iñárritu signed on to direct in August 2011, and in April 2014, after several delays due to other projects, Iñárritu confirmed that he was beginning work on The Revenant and that DiCaprio would play the lead role. Principal photography began in October 2014; problems with location and crew delayed the film from May to August 2015.

The Revenant premiered at the TCL Chinese Theatre in Los Angeles, on December 16, 2015, and had a limited release on December 25, 2015, followed by a wide release on January 8, 2016. It received positive reviews, mostly for its performances, direction and cinematography. The Revenant won three Golden Globe Awards, five BAFTA Awards, and at the 88th Academy Awards, Iñárritu, DiCaprio and Emmanuel Lubezki won the awards for Best Director, Best Actor and Best Cinematography, respectively. DiCaprio also won the Golden Globe Award for Best Actor – Motion Picture Drama, the Screen Actors Guild Award for Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Leading Role, the Critics' Choice Movie Award for Best Actor and the BAFTA Award for Best Leading Actor.

Cast:

-Leonardo DiCaprio as Hugh Glass
-Tom Hardy as John Fitzgerald
-Domhnall Gleeson as Andrew Henry
-Will Poulter as Jim Bridger
-Forrest Goodluck as Hawk
-Duane Howard as Elk Dog
-Arthur Redcloud as Hikuc
-Melaw Nakehk'o as Powaqa
-Grace Dove as Hugh Glass's wife
-Lukas Haas as Jones
-Paul Anderson as Anderson
-Kristoffer Joner as Murphy
-Joshua Burge as Stubby Bill
-Fabrice Adde as Toussaint
-Isaiah Tootoosis as Young Hawk
-Brendan Fletcher as Fryman
-Brad Carter as Johnnie
-Tyson Wood as Weston

1.We will be honest here, watching "Revenant" will make you feel their pain. It is pretty safe to say "The Revenant" isn’t an Adventure – It’s an Endurance Test. If you want to know  why, go watch it.

2.Before we can even get our bearings, Glass and his expedition, led by Captain Henry (Domhnall Gleeson), are attacked, arrow to the jugular, by Arikara Indians. Casualties are great, though Glass strives to protect his half-Pawnee son, Hawk (Forrest Goodluck). In a style reminiscent of Terrence Malick, Glass hallucinates about his dead wife. But the scenes feel more arty than artful. We're relieved when Glass heads into the forest and a scene that will surely blow you away.

3.The scene where Hugh Glass is attacked by the mama bear was pretty thrilling to watch. The Drudge Report mistakenly implied that DiCaprio's character was raped by the bear(Imagine if it was the case?). But Mama is just defending her cubs. (Spoilers to one's who have still not watched it) But when she flips Glass over on his back, you can hear his bones crack. And then she comes back for more. When she claws at his face, Glass looks like something Freddy Krueger left for dead. The sequence is spectacular in every sense of the word.

4.The visuals were breathtaking and the CGI bear is a product of an expert visual-effects team. That bear which is infact a stunt man who literally throws Leo around and tear at him. But not for a second will you doubt that the CGI bear is not real.

5.DiCaprio, hidden behind a grotty beard, his words mostly reduced to grunts, he nonetheless provides a portrait of a man in full. It's a virtuoso performance, thrilling in its brute force and silent eloquence which, without a doubt, won him The Oscar. Tom Hardy also did an excellent job scaring everyone and making it look like he was "Actually" torturing DiCaprio. So, the acting in this movie was too good.

6.About how the movie will affect you - generally, immersive movies enclose, they put you inside, they dunk you down into what it is supposed to feel like. Iñárritu and his cinematographer Emmanuel Lubezki do the opposite: they expose you to the elements. You are out in a piercingly painful cold, under an endless, pitiless sky. This is not an immersion that feels like a sensual surrender; it’s closer to having your skin peeled. The images that the movie conjures are ones of staggering, crystalline beauty: gasp-inducing landscapes and beautifully wrought closeups, such as the leaves in bulbous freezing mounds, and a tiny crescent moon, all unsentimentally rendered. But there is also something hallucinatory and unwholesome about these images, as if hunger and pain has brought Glass to the secularised state of a medieval saint tormented with visions. Poignantly, he mimes shooting distant moose with a tree branch instead of a rifle, and when he suddenly comes across a vast plain full of bison, it’s unclear for a second if he is imagining things. A ruined church looks like a miraculous example of cave painting.

7.Does The Revenant pull the viewer in? Yes. Is it well made? Undeniably. Is Tom Hardy once again scarily convincing and pretty much capable of anything? Of course. But this is a movie that sweats and bellows and stomps so loud, for so long, that it’s ultimately an exhausting exercise in what happens when an Oscar winner decides he’s going to do some demystifying. Imagine what a John Sturges or a Howard Hawks could’ve done with this material. Better yet, don’t. In the end, we recommend you to watch this movie if you like a thriller, action, drama etc. And to those who are not into this type of genres, fear not, it will absolutely  not let you guys down.
